I'm willing to share info on my other settings if necessary. I'm not positive this bug is caused by SEUS alone, so I'm posting this here as recommended by other players. Minecraft Seus shader sky flickers ka karina 3 years ago 3 On my Minecarft Shader (Seus Renewed 1.0.0) the sky flickers at sunrise / night ka karina 3 years ago Has settled. Second step: Unpack the downloaded archive and copy the SEUS Renewed folder to c:UsersUserAppDataRoaming. ![]() I am running minecraft on my computer that uses an Nvidia graphics card, which may be a common issue with users running into this bug. First step: download the shader package from the link below. Raising the quality raised the speed of the flickering, until messing with it enough cycling through the speeds just stopped the bug altogether. From upscaling to Screen Space Global Illumination, you’ll enjoy many features that aren’t available in the Vanilla version. Both were to no avail. The only option that I'd toggled that seemed to actively be changing how fast the flickering occurred was the rendering quality slider. Make sure Old Lighting is set to On or Default in the Shaders options Theres a built-in compensation for Old Lighting in SEUS v11.0. Chocapic13 is easily one of the most popular Minecraft shaders, thanks to the realistic and immersive experience it provides to you. Per the suggestion of a few others in the server, I tried turning fast-render off, and changing mipmap levels to 2. It only happens when shaders are enabled, which is the reason I downloaded Optifine in the first place, so disabling shaders isn't really an option for me. This has happened on both singleplayer worlds and multiplayer servers/realms, so it's 100% client-side. The game starts fine, then randomly (pattern seems to be around 10-15 minutes of play, but not always) blocks will start bouncing less than a block to the side, then back, showing transparency through the blocks. See for more information about instancing.I have run Optifine with SEUS shaders (SEUS Renewed 1.0.0) on the previous build (1.13.2) with no problems, so I believe this issue arises with either SEUS itself, or more likely, it's compatibility with Optifine 1.14.3. You need to check 'Enable Instancing' on materials that use the shader. Add instancing support for this shader. Use shader model 3.0 target, to get nicer looking lighting #pragma surface surf Lambert fullforwardshadows noforwardadd vertex:vert #pragma surface surf Standard fullforwardshadows noforwardadd vertex:vert The full name of this 1.17.1 / 1.17 shader is Sonic Ether's Unbeliev. _Glossiness ("Smoothness", Range(0,1)) = 0.5 The SEUS Shader 1.17 / 1.17.1 is the best shader pack for the new caves & cliffs update. (took me a while to get good screenshots, as it is a very fast flickering) Steps: 1: turn on sodium and iris 2: turn on shaders 3: enable shadows 4: travel around, and artifacts appear Screenshots Relevant log output No response Minecraft Version fabric-0.12.11-1.18.1 Iris Version iris-mc1.18.1-1.1. ![]() Some shaderpacks that use gbuffersskybasic (such as BSL, Tea, Complementary, KUDA, Silduers, SEUS, and BeyondBelief) will cause an issue where the sky will either be black, or have flickering lines across it. When I use optifine, the shadows work fine. ![]() I thought it might be missing lightmap UVs. The issue comes from a conflict with some shaders and astral sorcery.
